The city is divided into territory controlled by street racers gangs, the goal of each event is to gain more territory by pushing the other gangs all the way to the last encounter with the boss. The gameplay setting allows the player to free roam the city, with the ability to participate in events across the map. You play as an illegal street racer who suffers amnesia after a car crash, after discovering the man who was involved in the accident putting him in a coma and killing his brother, the player must climb his way along street racing teams to discover the truth.

Flatout, or stylized as FlatOut, is a racing/demolition derby game that came from Bugbear Entertainment and was passed down to several developers over the years, and it was the thing that led to the lowest point of the series as their underrated gem became one of the worst racing games ever made and it shows due to how it was covered by various. Oh yes players can now race on choppers, drive muscle cars, and get behind the wheel of law enforcement vehicles for the first time in Midnight Club history! Or, choose from one of the new vehicle types! Zoom around Detroit, Atlanta, and San Diego in souped up, flashy cars. Well, instead of visiting different countries across the globe, all of the illegal showdowns happen in the US. The main question we’re all asking ourselves is where the races are taking place?
